RE: Diesel fuel dumb question of the Decade
I have used Wal*Mart Diesel when ever I am near a Wal*Mart. The answer to your question is if it is number 2 diesel it is the same everywhere. There may be some difference between winter blend and summer blend. Good luck
RE: Where you can get parts for Teton
Other than body parts all appliance and other parts are available at a good RV supply store. You might try one of these used parts dealers.

RE: shocks choices
On a 12 year old coach why go the price of Bilsteins unless you had them already? Just go to a good auto supply store and buy their best for much less.
RE: dump valve for fresh water tank
A call to the manufacturer should solve your problem. Here you seem to be getting discription of where it is on other units. Probably different from yours.
RE: What is too high? 5er over bed rails
I would say the important thing is for the trailer to be level. I adjust my hitch and pin so I have 6 inches. I think much more would put a lot of strain on the pin. Your 9 inches is probably the highest I have heard of. If you put the springs under the axle and put on your new wheel you probably will be at about 7" that would seem good. Good luck.
RE: Mixing tires
Buy a second Goodyear and put them on the front. Tires should be matched on the same axle. If the one with the nail was repairable just use the Goodyear as a spare.
RE: Rear kitchen
We have had both a mid kitchen and a rear kitchen. Both have advantages, the mid allows for a larger living room. The rear gives the cook space that is not walked through when doing the meal preperation.
RE: Should I winterize or not?
It will be much safer to winterize. I don't thing 29-30 will be a problem but how much faith do you have in the weather service.
RE: Clear up my ignorance......
There always seems to be a little slop in the front jacks. The bi-pod/tri-pod eliminates that and there is less movement.
RE: Generator Question
I would say yes you should fix it. If you can get your hand in there to guide the hose you should be able to keep it straight. Good luck.
